Me: I'm a Writer, TEDx Speaker and Artist. I am Rosie, the founder of Rosie Allen Coaching. I am committed to asking more from humanity's potential. I want people to live in a more equal, supportive and encouraging society.
I have experienced bullying, domestic abuse, sexual assault and rape. I openly discuss my experiences to enable others with inspiration and insight into how they, too, can overcome and live a more empowered life.
In my career have supported victims of domestic violence as an IDVA and I co-facilitated group work with perpetrators of domestic abuse using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).I have also worked in the field of stalking, supporting and advocating for victims.
I have always been a creative being and enjoy spending time for creative and performing arts. This is why I have married up my passion to change society's relationship to gender with my art work.
My philosophy is to raise awareness around the society construct of gender and how it impacts our treatment and perception of gender.
We are impacted by our perceptions of gender in society, career, relationships, family and education. Parts of my specialist areas are where some of the most dangerous impacts can include domestic violence and rape culture.
So I offer training, interviews and public speaking and my art to educate and inspire change around these issues.
